Heavenly Forest Tada Kimi Wo Aishiteru

All I can said, is bittersweet. Out of all of the manga I've read, this one will be remembered for awhile. From reading the description, I was mixed up on the genders/names (me being mixed with names is common though). The story is in the male's point of view, not something I was expecting. There are a few parts from Shizuru (which also gotten me lost since I thought it was from Makoto).
I knew this would be a tragedy, even that there would be death. I found this on Yahoo Answers under the name of dead-manga-things (not really), so I chose it and Boku No Hatsukoi Wo Kimi Ni Sasagu (which I haven't had the pleasure of reading yet). So I knew what I was getting myself into; but it had a greater impact than I thought it would have. The summary is more into the middle of the story, so I was waiting for that scene.
I feel so bad for Shizuru. In the beginning, she started off as...weird. She's has hidden meanings in her words. All I can say, she was greatly done overall. I wish there was more of her adult life instead of pictures.
As for that one girl. I do have a little dislike about her. Even though it was Shizuru's wishes, she should have draw them together sooner. That's all I can say bad about her. She seems to know that he likes Shizuru, which I like since she restrains herself (not really) by not going after him. The place I read from skipped a couple pages, or not?, so I really have much of a clue what began to develop between them....before the timeskip.
Oh, and I can't find the movie! *Whines* I really wanted to see it after seeing these comments. Guess I will go search now.

Plot

“Heavenly Forest” is about a photographer named Makoto (Hiroshi Tamaki), who travels to New York during Christmas to look for his best friend, Shizuru (Aoi Miyazaki). The two first met when Makoto attended his university entrance ceremony. Due to his inferiority complex, Makoto tends to shy away from other people but Shizuru managed to make him open up to her. Because of their friendship, Shizuru also ended up taking an interest in photography and the two often went to a forest to take pictures. Shizuru wants nothing else but to be by Makoto’s side so when he started liking another girl called Miyuki (Meisa Kuroki), Shizuru decided that she too will like Miyuki and becomes her friend. One day, Makoto asked Shizuru what present she’d like to receive for her birthday. Shizuru, who wanted to enter a photography competition, had an idea to take a picture of the two of them kissing in a forest. Makoto agreed to do this and the two kissed for the very first time. Ever since that day, however, Shizuru disappears from Makoto’s life.
